More About Me

I am an artist, architect, academic, and design education advocate. A force for architecture and design education connections between the profession, the practice, the academic institutions, and the public through participatory media experiences in place-based project learning throughout her 33+ academic and architectural career, she creates and leads new media education programs in the built environment: at BSU/CAP (Lunchline Telecommunications Attaché Program); co-producing Image Union Emmy Awarded animated films on architecture for PBS Chicago television reaching thousands; codirecting and building the first CD-Rom on Architecture by architects for the general public translated and distributed to Spanish speaking Countries; building and leading three new transdisciplinary architecture programs at The School of the Art Institute of Chicago; cofounding and directing the NEXT.cc DESIGNopedia introducing place-based STEAM by Design activities into schools in fifty states and two hundred countries.
