Dr. Chris Deason
Professor,
It was durintg his 1970 opening at the Sonesta Hotel, Washington, D.C. dance and musical innovator James Brown had his second release LP recording hit.....'The Sex Machine. " This began the Hip Hop era as well. Please advise if wish to have more details...especially what happened at a high rise apartment complex in the Bronx which gave the additional name of Hip Hop --- which replaced the Sex Machine dance name.
Yours,
Mr. Roger M. Christian
Ithaca Dance and Internet Master.
