Julie Swanson is a dedicated advocate for students who continues to push the envelope to improve the process for parents with special needs children and make sure that children are meeting, and exceeding, their goals. She is the author of “Your Special Education Rights: What Your School District Isn’t Telling You,” and founder of www.lifeskillslady.com, a website devoted to the importance of adaptive and life skills in the IEP for students with autism.
