Hello edubloggers!

My name is Joe Thibault and I blog for GlobalClassroom.us on the topic of Moodle and elearning (http://theglobalclassroom.blogspot.com). I also blog at my own site on general topics in education (and sometimes about robots): http://josephthibault.com. In my full time job I support about 100,000 registered users on GlobalClassroom.us, which is a free, hosted Moodle community (though we do have some stuff you can pay for too).

I also created http://postlearn.com as a side project. It's a edublogger powered job board. We started it in August 09 so things are just getting started.

I'm excited to be here and look forward to finding some great new blogs to subscribe to.

I'm an online English teacher, confusingly, I live in Central Illinois, but teach for the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, Online Division. I write about education regularly on my blog and my first book, "A Taste for Language," will be available around November 16 of this year. In all honesty, I was looking for a wider audience fro my book and blog as well as for other writers whose work touches on similar interests.
Hello Edubloggers.

Hi Edubloggers. I just started a free professional development blog over at http://wecanfixeducation.blogspot.com I'd love to have you visit for lively discussion on highly effective instruction, student engagement, thinking strategies, student self-assessment, high level questions, guided instruction, small group instruction, how it all works in math, etc... Did I mention it's free??
Dear All,
I’m an eLearning professional, who’s passionate about her work. As a (new) EduBlogger, I’m really looking forward to interacting with you. And as a true believer in sharing knowledge, I hope to learn a lot. And who knows, you might learn a thing or two from me.

What currently fascinates me is the impact of social media on the way we learn. I’m not an expert. Yet. I’m hoping to get there by exploring the learning possibilities in this community.

You can check out my blog at: http://ivichiesays.wordpress.com/
Let’s interact and learn!

I hate to sound too self-promoting... Well, that's not really true! My first book just came out, "A Taste for Language," and I would certainly like everyone to look into it and consider buying a copy. It's published by the CCCC Studies in Writing & Rhetoric (SWR) series, and it's available now at most online bookstores. (I like the way it's displayed at Alibris:http://www.alibris.com/booksearch?qwork=11514537&matches=3&...*listing*title ) If you have any questions or thoughts (espeically after reading it) I'd be happy to answer. Meanwhile, I continue to post regularly on my blog: http://writinginthewild.com/

Katherine Bolman here. I am creating a course in the history of art and architecture around the world. It is under construction and well started. ahaafoundation.org is the site. It is being redesigned at the moment so don't be startled in the pages are not all the same color. It is free and I do need your input when you visit the site. I need the names of teachers and an email from then so that I can write a grant to pay teachers to collaborate with me.

So take a look and get back to me please.

Warmly, Katherine
Hello everyone
I live and work in the NW England for the NHS in community mental health for older adults. I also champion Hodges' model a universal conceptual framework developed in health and social care that can be applied globally. I have an existing blog 'Welcome to the QUAD' since April 2006:
Currently learning Drupal in order to create a new website, attending Drupalcon Szeged 2008 and Paris this year.
Please find attached a short introduction to Hodges' model. The blog includes a bibliography.
Hodges' Health Career - Care Domains - Model [h2cm]

- can help map health, social care and OTHER issues, problems and solutions. The model takes a situated and multi-contextual view across four knowledge domains:

* Interpersonal;
* Sociological;
* Empirical;
* Political.

Our links pages cover each care (knowledge) domain e.g.

Claudia
