I'm a media specialist at John Glenn Middle school in Maplewood Minnesota (The TwinCities). I'm in my mid 50's, have been a manager in printing, like to bike swim and take classes.
As far as Technology, I am both fascinated by the new technologies and uneasy with it. The any technology is a good technology especially for children I'm uneasy with.

My current interest digital video, especially the new cheaper $90 cameras. I'm checking them out like book in the Media center for kids to do movies
Hi everyone - here's a little bit about me - fifteen years experience as a classroom teacher and teacher-librarian. Led implementation of a teacher and school laptop program and have worked extensively with K-12 teachers in a large school district providing training and advice around Internet/technology use and research skills. Recognized the need for teachers to have a place where they can easily find "the best of the web" so we created TeacherRated. It's a free resource website where teachers can quickly locate the very best teaching tools, lesson plans, reference websites and student activities available online - all resources are suggested by teachers - many are rated and reviewed as well, I hope you find useful information here and perhaps take some time to contribute a resource or a write a review! I also write a blog where I highlight some "highly rated" web resources as well.
I am a math teacher and technology coordinator (6-8) at a private school in Connecticut. I love web2.0 and any great ideas on how to improve my math class. I have a family that complains I spend too much time on the computer. When on the computer, I am learning (via my PLN), designing projects for my classes and taking grad classes for a Technology in Education degree.
My name is Chuck Bell and I currently serve as principal of Commerce Middle School in Commerce, Georgia. This is my 29 year in the educational field. I have served as a teacher, coach, dean of students, assistant principal, high school principal, and now middle school principal. I am excited to join this community and look forward to sharing information and ideas with other like-minded (and not like-minded) educators. Whether it is classroom pedagogy, professional learning, school administration, etc., I am always ready to exchange information that would be helpful to all of us.
Hello Edubloggers! I'm Moonyeen Antonio, from the Philippines and currently studying here in Australia. Joining a community of educators like you who are experts in the field of life long learning will surely be a beneficial learning experience on my part. Reading along your posts introduces me to a pool of knowledge which awakens my curiosity and interest.

Hi Everyone,
I got to this address through the organizers of Blogging 4Educators of the TESOL's Electronic Village On-line (EVO), 2008 edition. I am an enthusiast of the emerging Web 2.0 tools for education and other uses. I teach English in a French speaking country (Togo) in West Africa. I've taught English at various levels, and various ages for a collective period of 23 years. I've also done a stint in journalism in Nigeria. I'd like to know as much these new technologies as possible. I'm most interested in the way it helps to reduce the distances, and contract our world into a veritable global village.

My name is Peggy George and I live in Phoenix, AZ. I have been a professional educator for over 35 years spending the majority of those years in AZ and Massachusetts. I began my teaching career in special education and have taught grades 1-6. I have had many administrative/leadership roles throughout my career including elementary principal (27 years), special education director, director of a private school for the deaf, coordinator of a Professional Development School (PDS) program affiliated with Arizona State University-West, and teacher education lecturer at ASU-West. Some of the courses I have taught include action research, classroom instruction and management, curriculum organization, technology integration in the K-12 classroom, classroom assessment, and the student teaching capstone seminar. Since my "retirement" in 2007, I have been involved in many educational technology projects related to Web 2.0 and best practices for technology integration in schools/universities. I am currently the Westside AzTEA Co-Chair and AzTEA Board Member. AzTEA (Arizona Technology in Education Alliance) is an ISTE Affiliate Chapter. I co-host the weekly Classroom 2.0 LIVE sessions on Elluminate with Kim Caise and Lorna Costantini which are an extension of the Classroom 2.0 Ning Community created by Steve Hargadon. I am also a regular participant in the EdTechTalk webcasts and help to produce the EdTechTalk weekly newsletters featuring shows and highlights of the ETT community.

My passion is continuing to explore all of the latest technology innovations and social networking opportunities for engaging students/teachers in powerful interactive learning experiences, and to share these resources with other educators. I'm an enthusiastic advocate for all things related to Web 2.0 and have created a blog to share some of my discoveries along the way. My inspiration to enter the Web 2.0 world began with the blogs and podcasts of many of the initial members of EduBloggerCon 2007 and I'm looking forward to the continuing conversations with other edubloggers around the world.
I'm an EFL teacher from Franca-SP-Brazil. I have been teaching English for 20 years now. I also have a degree in Translation - English and Spanish. I've been very much interested in the use of Technology/Web 2.0 to enhance my teaching and, of course, students' learning. I teach at a Binational Center here - CCBEU (Centro Cultural Brasil Estados Unidos). I've been trying to learn more and more about Web 2.0 since October 2008 when I did an online course "Webtools4BrazilianEducators" with Carla Arena. It was a fantastic experience and I'm always saying life has not been the same since then. I should be thankful forever.
I feel like a real baby around here and I am sure I'll be learning a lot - this happens every day. I try to follow you guys - the experts and have been trying to spread my enthusiasm as well. I sometimes get a bit frustrated as it seems most of the people close to me - physically - do not seem to be that excited about this new world and its endeless possibilities. I've been reading a lot about it and have already realized I should not worry much about it. People do react differently when it somes to changing and as they say "old habits die hard".
I've joined a number of communities and feel sort of guilty sometimes as it seems there is so much to learn it's virtually impossible to catch up with everything. I do my best and I guess that's what counts.
