During the 2010-11 school year I taught my first on-line class through Vermont Virtual Learning Cooperative (VTVLC). I’ve taught technology and business classes for 22 years at Peoples Academy in Morrisville, Vermont. In many ways I felt like a first year educator teaching on-line!

There are 16 Phase I teachers in the VTVLC program. Together we went through a 15 month certificate program through Marlboro College. The VTVLC program is grant funded by the State of Vermont.

Most of the on-line courses in the VTVLC program use Moodle as the classroom management system (CMS). This is only one of several CMS systems available. This group is NOT exclusive to Moodle users.

I'm interested in pedagogy, best practices and share on-line teaching experiences with a group of novice and experienced educators who teach both in the regular classroom and on-line.

Hi!

I am more into classroom than on-line. It would be a good initiative to take on for online teaching and learning. Any suggestions?
